Reset HBAs Using HBAnyware

Resetting HBAs

HBAnyware enables you to reset HBAs.

To reset an HBA:

Start HBAnyware.
In the discovery-tree, select the HBA you want to reset.
Do one of the following:

From the menu bar, click Adapter, and then click Reset Adapter.
Click the Reset toolbar button.

The following warning screen appears:

Click Yes to reset the HBA.

The reset may require several seconds to complete. While the HBA is resetting, the status bar displays “Reset in progress.” When the reset is finished, the status bar displays “Ready.”
